A brief stop at Valley Forge National Park before heading to a photography session in NYC. This is the National Memorial Arch at Valley Forge. Trying out a 21mm 1.8 lens on the Leica and thought the Arch’s lines would be a great subject to test distortion.

Ok so it’s Wednesday and Monochrome Monday is a bit late, I apologize. I found it odd that old abandoned house would have two pianos inside but then again I’ve since plenty of other oddities.

Technical Details : Leica M9 with 21mm handheld on missing floorboards, processed in Adobe Lightroom with custom B&W preset

Stumbled across Benjamin C. Wood’s headstone while in DC’s Congressional Cemetery, he had an interesting afterlife.

On a side note, this cemetery is one of the best dog walking areas I’ve ever seen,35 acres for dogs to roam off-leash though you must sign up yearly for this privilege.

Two articles today caught my eye. First a very heartfelt Kickstarter project by photojournalist Tim Page working on a project to return to Cambodia to document what happened to missing journalists. Project is entitled – Lost Brothers

The 2nd article is from The Literal Lens about Magnum’s darkroom printer Pablo Inirio. I love seeing all the writing/directions on test prints from photographers showing what they want dodged or burned.

Ok back to posting more weddings!
