Christ Church has always been one of my favorite New Orleans churches to photograph in, just love the wood interior. Thanks to Mike Lirette for helping me with the photography.

Red’s, Clarksdale MS and the 1st night of our Rebirth Workshop/Retreat–
I had met Deak Harp the day before at The Shack Up Inn while we were preparing for Rebirth. Deak had just attended a harmonica workshop at The Shack Up. He made his own harmonica as well as played a handmade guitar – at the same time. I loved every minute of his performance and even got behind the drums for a couple tunes with some help from Will making sure Deak called me up to the stage. Seems if I’m in Mississippi I tend to find a drum set to bang away on. Helluva fun time!
For the techies – Leica M9P with 50/f2 Summicron, 1600iso.
Loved this recent bridal session in the French Quarter. One of my favorites is Malia standing in front of St Louis Cathedral with tourists all around going about their day. I was just metering the light on the Leica then was going to recompose and this “happy accident” happened. Photographer Timothy Allen once said ““It can be a trap of the photographer to think that his or her best pictures were the ones that were hardest to get” Enjoy. – Chris
