Starting 2015 off with a quote from fellow Leica photographer Ted Grant, if you have never had the pleasure to

meet him in person or chat with him over the phone, make sure to reserve a seat at the table when he has his 100th birthday party.

“When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!” – Ted Grant

There’s a myth or story or wise tale about it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day. Maybe it’s just a southern saying, who knows. The rain faded away and this wedding went great from start to finish. Congrats to Camille and Charlie! Thanks to Chris Pike for assisting me with the photography.

I have a weakness for crop dusters. Crazy? Maybe but true. There’s an art to what they do, a dance in the sky, fascinating.

Iron Maiden’s “Ace’s High” may describe a crop duster in flight perfectly, minus the guns of course.

A complete joy to work with Ashley in New Orleans a while back photographing her bridal portraits, we even mixed it up with film and digital cameras. The first image with Ashley and friends is one of my favorites.
