Probably one of the coolest views I’ve seen. The rooftop view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The grounds are just massive and really can’t be shown with just one photograph.

If you can’t beat the heat of the sun, work with it.

Always seems to be a soundtrack in my head. Thought of this song instantly when capturing this image –

“There’s a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
and it’s all right, baby, it’s all right”

– Road to Nowhere, Talking Heads

Great to once again photograph the Fiscal Summit at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium

for the Peter Peterson Foundation. Thanks to the Peterson Foundation and Chris Wayne & Associates for having me out to capture the event.

Here are a couple images of President Bill Clinton who spoke at the event.

Thunderstorms rolled in bringing Reagan National departures to a stand still for nearly two hours last week. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many departure planes parked so close together and not at a gate before. I could hear Fred Thompson say “stack ’em, pack ’em and rack ’em”! – from Die Hard II.
