At least one of these two prints have been chosen to be displayed at the “DC As I See It” Exhibit at the Leica Store in Washington DC. The gallery opening is March 30th from 7pm-9pm. Stop by if you’re in the DC area! Exhibit runs through April. Can’t wait to see the gallery myself, for sure to have many talented DC photographer’s images on display!

Technical details – Both images created in DC with the Leica M9 using 35mm (people fishing) and 135mm (VH-60 helicopter) lenses. Processed in Adobe Lightroom adding my own custom monochrome preset. Both photographs printed on Epson Exhibition Fiber paper using an Epson Printer.

Had the chance to photograph a wedding in New Orleans Louisiana with friend and fellow photographer Will Jacks and also review the Leica Monochrom for articles in The Photo Life and WPPI Rangefinder Magazine

Here is the Photo Life link –

And Link for WPPI Rangefinder Magazine – (if viewing from a phone the article is under “product roundup” page 115) Special thanks to Leica for using my images.

Ok so it’s Wednesday and Monochrome Monday is a bit late, I apologize. I found it odd that old abandoned house would have two pianos inside but then again I’ve since plenty of other oddities.

Technical Details : Leica M9 with 21mm handheld on missing floorboards, processed in Adobe Lightroom with custom B&W preset

Missing a bit of the Mississippi Delta today so I thought I would post some images that were created during the first Rebirth Workshop – man did that seem ages ago! Looking forward to what’s next for Rebirth. As our friend Jim would say, Onward!

Another Monday.  This one is with my iHolga(iPhone) but I had every intention of going back to create the image again with my “real” camera. This is one of those time I wished I had done it when I said I would since the park is now under renovation for the next few months and the sculpture is blocked off.
