I have a weakness for crop dusters. Crazy? Maybe but true. There’s an art to what they do, a dance in the sky, fascinating.

Iron Maiden’s “Ace’s High” may describe a crop duster in flight perfectly, minus the guns of course.

Always trying to find a different angle to use when a bride is getting ready, mirrors are my best friend.

From a recent portrait session. Gotta love New Orleans’ French Quarter and it’s architecture for portrait sessions.

A complete joy to work with Ashley in New Orleans a while back photographing her bridal portraits, we even mixed it up with film and digital cameras. The first image with Ashley and friends is one of my favorites.

Red’s, Clarksdale MS and the 1st night of our Rebirth Workshop/Retreat

I had met Deak Harp the day before at The Shack Up Inn while we were preparing for Rebirth. Deak had just attended a harmonica workshop at The Shack Up. He made his own harmonica as well as played a handmade guitar – at the same time. I loved every minute of his performance and even got behind the drums for a couple tunes with some help from Will making sure Deak called me up to the stage. Seems if I’m in Mississippi I tend to find a drum set to bang away on. Helluva fun time!
