Three images here from a recent 6,980 mile road trip. Couldn’t get in those last 20 miles!

First two images are from Grand Canyon National Park, the last image somewhere along Old Route 66.

Leica M9-P with 90mm Summicron for the gear details.

Probably one of the coolest views I’ve seen. The rooftop view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The grounds are just massive and really can’t be shown with just one photograph.

If you can’t beat the heat of the sun, work with it.

Always seems to be a soundtrack in my head. Thought of this song instantly when capturing this image -

“There’s a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
and it’s all right, baby, it’s all right”

- Road to Nowhere, Talking Heads

The Horah -

“To start the dance, everybody forms a circle, holding hands, and steps forward toward the right with the left foot, then follows with the right foot.

The left foot is then brought back, followed by the right foot. This is done while holding hands and circling together in a fast and cheerful motion to the right. ” (wikipedia)

Always a fun part of Jewish weddings. It’s fast, it’s crazy and everyone is having a great time.

As a photographer, this dance keeps you on your toes for sure, even if you are tall!

Thanks to Jessica Del Vecchio Photography for having me help out at the wedding.
